Responsibilities
- Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following progressive protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IVs to deliver advanced care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, offering reassurance and information.
- Lead scene management and oversee unit operations as needed.
- Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and promote the organization’s image.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P.
- State Driver’s License.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Clean driving record in line with company policy.
- Pass physical agility test.
- Some healthcare experience preferred.
