Role: Sonographer within the Ultrasound Team, performing routine and complex imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves.
Responsibilities: Customize examinations based on patient needs, adjust equipment for optimal imaging, identify appropriate "windows" for undistorted images, and diagnose pathology during ultrasound procedures. Perform diagnostic ultrasounds independently under physician supervision and collaborate with peers as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, graduate from a certified CAAHEP program or accredited allied health school, ARDMS registered with advanced certification in Breast. One to five years of paid scanning experience preferred; experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
