Role Overview
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will serve as a caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities include aiding with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital sign collection, psychosocial support, transfers, range of motion exercises, and assisting with meals to ensure a positive dining experience. You will support healthcare procedures, document resident interactions, communicate changes in condition, and assist with housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities. Participation in departmental committees may also be required.

Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.
- Prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to complete annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
- Knowledge of infection prevention, proper transfer techniques, and resident care protocols.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry and valid driver’s license if required.
