Key Duties Include
- Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital sign recording.
- Supporting psychosocial needs and personal care for residents.
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises.
- Contributing to meal preparation, assisting residents during dining, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Documenting resident interactions, care updates, and behavioral or dietary changes.
- Collecting non-invasive specimens and vital signs, and supporting housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or enrollment in a training program to obtain it within four months.
- Completion of yearly competency testing and ongoing education (at least 12 hours annually).
- State certification and registration as applicable.
- Ability to perform essential physical tasks and maintain safety protocols.
