Role Overview: Performs computerized imaging procedures, monitors equipment, and assists patients and physicians as needed.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in computer software, troubleshooting abilities, and providing physical or psychological support to patients, including those with screening or limitations.
Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Must hold relevant state licensure and ARRT certification in radiography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy, with additional certification in CT within one year of hire.
Experience: Less than one year in computerized imaging or graduate of a post-secondary CT program; preferred one year of radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or MRI experience, including CT imaging.
