CT Technologist - Part Time

Role Overview: Performs computerized imaging procedures, operates and monitors imaging equipment, and assists patients and physicians as needed.

Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED; an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Candidates must hold relevant licensure/certification, such as ARRT registration in radiography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy, along with a valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy systems.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, considering screening and limitations.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and certification requirements, including obtaining additional certifications within specified timelines.
• Assist in performing computerized imaging procedures, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  
  

Skills & Experience: Knowledge of computer software, troubleshooting skills, and prior experience in diagnostic imaging or nuclear medicine are preferred. Candidates with less than one year of experience or recent graduates of CT certification programs are eligible, with a preference for those having one year of radiology or related imaging experience.
