What You’ll Do:
- Assist in assessing resident interests and needs to personalize daily activities
- Help provide engaging, therapeutic programs that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being
- Participate in creating activity calendars and monthly newsletters
- Support residents during on-site events and accompany them on outings
- Assist with wheelchair transportation and event setup
- Maintain accurate records and assist with community outreach and fundraising efforts
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to create memorable experiences
- Must maintain current CNA certification
- Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and team members
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- A cheerful personality, sense of humor, and genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors
- Creativity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
- Strong organizational skills, patience, and professionalism
- Physical ability to lift 60–70 lbs. frequently and walk/stand throughout most of your shift
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet all local health regulations, including drug screening, background check, and physical exam if required
- Commitment to excellent attendance and dependability
