Participants and their counselors work collaboratively to design an integrated, individualized, strengths-based treatment experience geared towards addressing each client’s specific needs and goals. Outpatient programs provide Individual and group therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, crisis intervention, and connection to social support services.

The Outpatient Program is specifically designed for people who struggle with substance use disorders,
mental health issues or co-occurring disorders. The Outpatient Program works with high-risk populations
from a variety of backgrounds. Our programs are open and welcoming to adult participants, of any gender
identity. We accept the majority of participants who seek Outpatient treatment, including walk-in’s,
referrals from other agencies and step-down transitional clients from residential treatment programs.
The SUD Supervisor supervises and manages staff to ensure provision of quality client care and effective
team performance in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360’s philosophy, goals, policies, mission, and vision.
The SUD Supervisor is primarily responsible for staff offboarding and training, staff supervision, as well
as other daily activities essential to incorporating the agency’s mission and values as a part of our service
delivery. The SUD Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing client care as it relates to staff
scheduling, outside agency relations, and other tasks as assigned by the Program Director and Manager.

scheduling, outside agency relations, and other tasks as assigned by the Program Director and Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
People Management:
- Responsible for providing direct supervision, training, and guidance to the direct service staff
- Ensures all direct reports are in compliance with HR360 policies, procedures, and position
- Gives ongoing feedback and conducts formal performance evaluations in a timely manner.
- Conducts staff meetings as needed and ad hoc staff huddles at the start of each shift worked,
- Identifies the direct reports strengths and weaknesses and strives to develop each direct report
- Delivers and arranges trainings and resources required for direct reports to perform their roles.
- Provides coaching, support, follow up and performance management to direct reports to ensure
- Supports the director/manager in interviewing, selection, hiring, and terminations for positions
- Responsible for direct report performance management including performance improvement
- Supports the director/manager in terminations of direct reports as needed.
- Maintains open communications with the director/manager concerning employee matters/needs
- Responsible for scheduling and facilitating team meetings as applicable to support client care and
Treatment Oversight:
- Responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of all treatment services provided by direct
- Responsible for ensuring that direct reports provide strengths based, trauma informed, harm
- Responsible for ensuring that all treatment services are provided in an ethical and legal manner.
- Responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and providing co-signature as applicable.
- Responsible for all direct reports submitting documentation in accordance with program
policies and procedures. this includes timeliness of documentation with progress notes being
completed no later than the following business day, assessments, treatment plans, and discharges
occur on time.
- Responsible for identifying treatment oversight needs for the team and communicating the needs
- Assumes ownership for any crisis as it relates to service delivery and sees it through to completion.

- Facilitates and assess with client case conferences as applicable.
- Ensures that team communicates and collaborates with all members of the behavioral health
Program Management:
- Responsible for ensuring that all treatment service plans and activities are executed in keeping

- In collaboration with management, develops and maintains good relations with contractors and

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- An AOD Certification, with at least 4 years of Supervisory experience,
A BBS Registration 2 years Supervisory experience.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Knowledge of community resources for non-profit substance abuse treatment facilities.
- Experience with government contracts and compliance.
- Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population.
- Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet
- Integrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Knowledge of gender-responsive, trauma-informed, and co-occurring treatment.
