- Greet and communicate with patients, manage inquiries, and assist with language translation to ensure clear communication.
- Facilitate patient registration, verify insurance, coordinate payments, and schedule appointments.
- Handle administrative tasks including message management, daily reporting, cash reconciliation, and billing via HL7.
- Assist with clinical procedures such as taking dental radiographs, applying anesthetics, placing rubber dams, and assisting during treatments.
- Maintain infection control, disinfect equipment, and monitor inventory of supplies and lab cases.
- Support patient education on oral hygiene and coordinate follow-up appointments for continuity of care.
- Perform expanded functions like coronal polishing, provisional restorations, and sealants, ensuring patient safety during sedation.
- Contribute to practice operations across multiple locations, providing flexible coverage as needed.
- High school diploma plus Registered Dental Assistant certification and Expanded Functions training.
- Bilingual with 1-2 years of dental assisting experience, including radiographs and clerical duties.
- Licensure as a registered expanded function Dental Assistant and CPR certification.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand, sit, and travel between sites.
