Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. They practice according to professional standards, evidence-based guidelines, and organizational policies, ensuring individualized care that respects cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, care planning, implementation, and evaluation using clinical standards and critical thinking.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate and document safe, efficient care, promoting teamwork, inclusion, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support professional development by mentoring, precepting, and maintaining competency through ongoing education.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and system-wide safety and compliance standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license and relevant certifications including BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to operate technology effectively and respond decisively in emergencies.
