What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers 🦸♀️🦸♂️)
✅ Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly schedules to ensure accurate financial statements
✅ Analyze account details and resolve discrepancies like a true accounting detective
✅ Collaborate with Executive Directors and business office staff to ensure clean coding and timely reporting
✅ Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and payroll documentation that help drive smart decisions
✅ Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for our managed communities
✅ Support annual audits and tax filings with detailed documentation
✅ Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines, all while keeping things organized and efficient
✅ Jump into ad hoc projects and problem-solve like a pro when leadership needs your expertise
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Numbers & Spreadsheets 💼)
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
✔ At least 1 year of accounting experience (bonus if it’s in senior living or healthcare!)
✔ Strong knowledge of Excel, accounting software, and general ledger systems
✔ Ability to juggle deadlines, communicate clearly, and work independently
✔ A team-first attitude with a commitment to high-quality work
✔ Bonus points for Yardi experience or exposure to nonprofit/Medicare/Medicaid accounting
