Role: Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT board regulations, collaborate with medical personnel to provide team-focused care, evaluate and modify plans as needed, understand and utilize adaptive equipment, and maintain accurate documentation according to guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), BLS certification, state-specific licensure, strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and physical capability to perform job duties.
Additional Information: The role involves working 8-hour days, 40 hours per week, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Certifications beyond BLS may be required prior to assignment.
