What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Neurology position at Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA)?

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic inpatient team in a Level II Trauma Center's Stroke Unit.

Responsibilities include

  • clinical management of patients
  • performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
  • interpreting diagnostic tests
  • prescribing medications
  • educating patients
  • The role offers growth opportunities to develop expertise in neurologic and critical care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner board certification
  • DEA license, BLS, ACLS certifications
  • ENLS training preferred (can be completed within 1 month)
  • Open to experienced and new graduates


    • Ideal candidates appreciate a team-based approach and may have neuroscience or critical care background.
