Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC is a dynamic team of passionate music therapists collaborating to bring high-quality music therapy services to people of all ages and abilities across 30 counties throughout greater Minnesota.

Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC is hiring a full-time music therapist (MT-BC) in Rochester, MN. This hourly employee position is 32-40 hours per week of in-clinic and community-based services in Rochester, the home of Mayo Clinic. The caseload will be eclectic and includes: children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, psychosocial and wellness needs, older adult groups, hospice, and other community partnerships.

About You

The ideal candidate is ready to be an advocate and educate in the community about how we empower lives through music, and embrace a diverse caseload while providing high-quality services based in our state-of-the-art music therapy clinic with travel in the Rochester community. This position is for you if you are passionate about music therapy with a variety of populations and a highly motivated self-starter who excels in time management and handles change with flexibility with ease.

The music therapist must be able to work independently, excel in a fast-paced environment, have strong vocal and guitar skills and repertoire, can leverage technology in clinical practice, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and must be a team player. This therapist must operate with honesty and integrity and represent the Healing Rhythms brand and values the team upholds.

The candidate must have a reliable vehicle and should be able to consistently meet the needs of a diverse patient population and their families, while clearly articulating the clinical importance, purpose, and benefit of services provided.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Education

• Bachelor's in Music Therapy or Equivalency (Required)
• Master’s in Music Therapy (Preferred)
• Neurologic Music Therapy, NMT™ (Preferred)

License/Certification

• MT-BC (or passed CBMT exam before start date) (Required)
• Drivers License (Required)

Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
