Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical terminology, and EMR/EHR systems, with experience in the specialized area of bariatric care. CNAs play a vital role in supporting patients' physical and emotional well-being while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Duties
- Assist patient with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using a hoyer lift.
- Monitor vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff.
- Document any deviation of care on patient time sheets.
- Assist with patient transfers and ensure safety using appropriate equipment for physical support
- Follow infection control procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Provide emotional support and compassionate caregiving tailored to individual patient needs.
Skills
- Care experience with bariatric care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care.
- Skilled in vital signs monitoring.
- Ability to perform complex caregiving tasks including catheter care.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments including in home health settings.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards ensuring accurate record keeping compliant with HIPAA regulations
- Compassionate caregiver with a focus on patient care.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
