Role Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment, enabling clients to maintain their dignity and independence. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Document and report changes in client conditions to the care team and family members.
• Ensure a safe and clean home environment for clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and maintain personalized care plans.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Current CNA certification in North Carolina.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

• Have experience in home care or a similar healthcare setting.
• Possess additional certifications related to personal care or dementia care.
• Are familiar with using assistive devices and technology for better client care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with availability required from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
