We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years, focusing on providing in-home care assistance to seniors and any adult who needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living.

Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support needed, helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Help clients with medication reminders and adherence.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Offer transportation support for clients to attend appointments and social activities.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Experience in home care or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in English.
• Ability to empathize with and support our clients' needs.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Have certification in CPR or first aid.

Bonus If You:

• Possess experience in geriatric care.
• Are familiar with common medical conditions affecting seniors.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, including availability on weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only at our FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia office, located in Glynn County, Georgia, however, we service the surrounding areas such as but not limited to; Kingsland, St. Mary's, Woodbine, Folkston, Nahunta, Hoboken, Jesup, Townsend, darien and more!
