What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracted Mental Health Counselor position at Healing Gardens Counseling Center?
About the Position
Healing Gardens Counseling Center is a trauma-informed mental health counseling practice. At Healing Gardens, clients are seen as the ultimate expert on their lives and hold the answers to their troubles. Our counselors help clients work through the barriers that are keeping them from reaching those answers. By walking alongside them, we create a collaborative, supportive space for meaningful growth and healing.
At Healing Gardens Counseling Center, we use evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Flash Technique, and nervous system regulation skills when working with clients. Healing Gardens also offers the option to integrate elements of the Christian faith into the counseling process, when aligned with client preferences and goals. Clinicians should feel comfortable supporting faith-informed care in a respectful and client-centered way.
If you are a counselor who is passionate about partnering at a center to help clients overcome the burdens of trauma, Healing Gardens welcomes you to apply. Together, we can create a space of growth and healing.
