Senior Accounting Consultant Opportunity
HeadFarmer is excited to be partnering with a publicly traded technology company in Tempe, Arizona! Together, we’re looking for an experienced, senior-level accountant to help with a 6-week SEC reporting engagement.
The main focus of this engagement is preparing and filing 10-K and 10-Q’s, while also conducting heavy accounting research and working with internal and external auditors regularly.
This role is HYBRID, working 4 days/week in office and 1 day/week remote. The office is located in the south Tempe area.
Primary job functions include:
- Preparing and filing 10-K and 10-Q’s, including disclosures
- Conducting heavy, thorough research to resolve technical accounting issues
- Assist with month end close and monthly ad hoc reporting functions
- Assist with external filings as necessary, such as proxy and 8-K forms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and accounting leaders, along with other teams/departments
Education, Qualifications and Skills:
- CPA highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- Experience working in public audit and/or for large, publicly traded companies
- At least 5 years of senior-level, month end accounting experience
- Must have strong knowledge with 10-K and 10-Q’s
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), along with excellent prioritization abilities
