What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Director, Patient Safety position at HCTHealthcare?
HCT is seeking an interim System Director of Patient Safety for a health system in Arizona. The responsibilities include:
- Establish structure and stability for the patient safety program.
- Build and standardize the approach to RCAs and serious safety events.
- Drive readiness for upcoming Joint Commission triennial survey.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors required, Masters preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Patient Safety leadership experience in an acute care setting, prior experience leading RCA's and establishing RCA processes, as well as establishing structure for a patient safety program, in addition to JC survey preparation experience.
- License: RN license is not required, however a clinical background is a must.
- Certifications: CPHQ, CPPS, or other related certifications are preferred but not required.
