HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director, Emergency Department at a 300 bed hospital in Washington. The interim leader will be responsible for stabilizing operations, strengthening staff engagement and accountability, and collaborating with two freestanding EDs to support patient flow and continuity of care across the system.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other healthcare-related field; graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience: Recent Emergency Department leadership experience managing a high-volume, unionized ED with 40 beds. Ideal candidate will have experience leading operational improvement initiatives, supporting staff engagement, and maintaining regulatory and departmental standards within complex healthcare environments.
- License: Active Washington or Compact RN License
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; PALS, ENPC, and TNCC preferred
- Computer Skills: Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
