HCT is seeking an interim House Supervisor RN for a 250 bed hospital in California. The responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative leadership and support to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality patient care in compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate nursing supervisor activities across hospital administrative and clinical operations while ensuring adherence to legal and professional standards. Also manage complex situations, complaints, or policy exceptions.
- Manage nursing staff resources including monitoring schedules, anticipating staffing shortages, and coordinating planning to avoid staffing issues.
- Coordinate and participate in activities necessary to meet patient needs, including but not limited to basic patient care, administration of medications and proper documentation.
Requirements:
- Education: BSN required
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of recent relevant experience, including knowledge of principles and practices of nursing for all inpatient settings, emergency departments, surgical services and ambulatory care settings.
- License: CA RN required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- EMR: Epic
