Technical Support Engineer

Role/Responsibilities

• Technical Support / Application Support / Production Support / L2 Support /L3 Support.
• Ability to run SQL queries intermediate level.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Java Script.
• Basics of API – Using get & put to retrieve data from SQL tables.
• Troubleshooting & Analyzing customer issues, Log analysis.
• Should have good communication skills (written & spoken English)
• Willing to work in 24*7 rotational shifts including weekends & public holiday.

Qualifications & Experience

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, BCA or related technical discipline a must
• Basic/Intermediate understanding of APIs, Web technologies, HTML and large-scale systems
• Support experience in Cloud Application or Software Application (not to be mistaken for hardware / router / PC support which is procedural) or Digital Advertising space with expertise in Campaign Management, Campaign Optimization and / or Technical Support for Search campaigns on Google Ads (FKA as AdWords) or Microsoft Advertising Platform (FKA Bing Ads)
• Tier 2 / Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer with troubleshooting skills and experience using debugging tools like Fiddler etc.
• SQL experience and ability to manipulate data rapidly and use complex joins
• Extensive Log analysis to troubleshoot the issue, and provide a resolution for the issue
• Any previous dev experience or programming language understanding a plus (any language, C , .Net, Java, Python etc)

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of how Online Advertising, Search & Display Advertising work
• Microsoft Ads certification or Google Ads.
• Understanding of the North American and European cultures, slang, brands, and current events
• Some profiles that struggle to make the transition into Ad Support Space and should be avoided in the clients experience:
• IT support and hardware support not good fits for this role
• Pure customer support resources email call and chat.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum $47.00 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $49.00 per hour

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
