Technical Specialist – Teamcenter Developer (TC Quality, Server & Active Workspace)

About the Role
HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist – Teamcenter Developer with strong expertise in Teamcenter Quality Management, Teamcenter Server customization, and Active Workspace development. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience configuring and customizing Teamcenter solutions, supporting Quality Management processes, and rapidly understanding business workflows related to QMS (Quality Management System) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
This role requires a strong technical foundation in Teamcenter architecture, integrations, custom development, and enterprise PLM solutions within a regulated engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Teamcenter solutions based on business and quality management requirements.
- Configure, customize, and support Teamcenter Server and Active Workspace applications.
- Develop and enhance Teamcenter Quality (TC Quality) capabilities, including support for QMS and CAPA business processes.
- Perform Teamcenter server-side and client-side customizations, workflow configurations, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter application, performance, and system issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, quality teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions.
- Support system upgrades, patching activities, deployments, and environment management.
- Create technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational documentation.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and production support activities.
- Recommend enhancements and best practices to improve Teamcenter usability, performance, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with Teamcenter Development and Customization.
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Quality Module (TC Quality).
- Expertise in Teamcenter Server and Client Processes.
- Experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC).
- Strong understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) processes.
- Experience supporting or implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) workflows.
- Ability to quickly understand and translate business quality requirements into Teamcenter solutions.
- Experience with Teamcenter workflow configuration and business object modeling.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Teamcenter integrations and enterprise PLM environments.
Preferred Skills
- CAD integrations within Teamcenter.
- Data migration and bulk loading experience.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter deployment, upgrade, and environment management.
- Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or regulated industry processes.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Certifications
- Siemens PLM Certified Professional (Preferred)
- Teamcenter Administration or Development Certification (Preferred)

Pay Range Minimum: $87000/year
Pay Range Maximum: $125,000/year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
