Title - Administrative Analyst
Location - Rolling Meadows, Illinois (REMOTE Role)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Administrative Order Entry Specialist to join our
fast paced and forward-thinking organization. The Administrative Order Entry Specialist is
responsible for accurately entering customer or internal orders into the designated online portal,
monitoring the approval process, tracking order status, and overseeing the delivery of orders from
initiation to completion. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless order processing,
timely approvals, and successful delivery, supporting both operational efficiency and customer
satisfaction
· Order Entry: Accurately input all incoming orders into the order management portal in a
timely manner, ensuring all required data fields are completed and documentation is properly
attached.
· Approval Tracking: Monitor order approvals by relevant departments or personnel,
proactively following up on pending approvals and escalating delays as necessary to
maintain process flow.
· Status Monitoring: Track the progress of each order through the portal, updating records as
orders move through various stages (e.g., processing, production, or shipment).
· Delivery Tracking: Oversee the fulfillment and delivery process, coordinate with logistics or
shipping providers as needed, and ensure timely delivery to the designated recipients.
· Communication: Serve as a point of contact for order-related inquiries, providing updates to
internal teams and customers regarding order status, approval, and delivery timelines.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of orders, approvals, and deliveries,
and generate routine reports on order status and fulfillment metrics.
Key Skills and Experience:
· Previous administrative or order entry experience, ideally in a business-to-business or
logistics environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency with order entry or ERP portals, and basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel,
Word, Outlook).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Problem-solving skills and initiative to follow up on delayed orders or issue
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.

Salary : $60,000 - $88,000
