Warehouse Lead

Summary

Provides day-to-day coordination and hands-on support of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory handling, and preparation of products for delivery or installation. Supports the organization and maintenance of the warehouse facility, vehicles, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving, Storage & Shipping Coordination

• Receive incoming products, verify box counts and packing slip quantities, and inspect shipments for freight damage.
• Match received products to purchase orders and pull appropriate work order documentation.
• Communicate daily product receipts to Sales, Sales Support, Project Management, and Dispatch.
• Stage and organize products within the warehouse, document storage locations, and tag items for identification.
• Assist with accurate product pulls for outbound deliveries and installations, ensuring items are protected and properly loaded.
• Load trucks in delivery or installation sequence when applicable, ensuring required tools and equipment are included per work order or dispatch instructions.
• Handle all materials in a safe and professional manner to minimize damage.

 Field Operations Support

• Interface with field crews to ensure the correct product is pulled, staged, and loaded for delivery or installation at job sites.
• Coordinate with field crews to ensure product returns are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate dealership personnel.

Warehouse Organization & Facility Support

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, including storage areas, equipment, parts, and vehicles.
• Support warehouse security procedures and ensure warehouse areas are properly secured.
• Report facility maintenance concerns such as roof leaks, door issues, utilities, sprinkler systems, or fire safety equipment.
• Ensure hazardous materials are properly stored and labeled in accordance with safety guidelines.

Vehicles, Equipment & Supply Coordination

• Track vehicle usage and assist with maintaining vehicle maintenance records.
• Monitor company equipment condition and manage equipment check-in and check-out processes.
• Maintain adequate warehouse, installation, and delivery supplies; notify leadership when replenishment is needed.

Inventory Support & Documentation

• Assist with maintaining accurate dealer and customer inventory records, including documenting product movement in and out of the warehouse.
• Support rental and loaner equipment tracking, including documentation of check-out and return.
• Coordinate product service or repair needs for items damaged during receiving or warehouse handling.

Processes, Compliance & Safety

• Follow established receiving procedures and documentation requirements, including freight claim processes.
• Support compliance with DOT regulations related to vehicle use.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and promote safe work practices within the warehouse.
