Why This Role Matters
As Senior Manager, Human Resources, you’ll be at the center of our People Operations, driving strategic HR initiatives while ensuring seamless execution. You’ll partner with managers and leadership to:
- Take a consultative approach in advising managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and career growth.
- Drive engagement, culture, and development through mentorship, professional programs, and performance initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members while strengthening processes and infrastructure to support a multi-market organization.
- Lead HR operations—benefits, payroll, leave, and HR systems assuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across hiring, training, and employee development while tracking key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations, maintain policies, documentation, and support audits and reporting.
This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ideal for an experienced HR professional ready to make an impact in a growing, highly regulated wealth management environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), 10 years of progressive HR leadership across core HR functions with increasing responsibility.
- Experience within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or wealth management firm preferred.
- Experience supporting 100–500 employee organizations, ideally in a scaling environment where HR strategy and infrastructure are evolving.
- Proven ability to serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success managing complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HRIS/payroll systems, with solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel preferred).
- Collaborative, proactive leader with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership.
- Strong experience with employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS/payroll systems, and compliance.
Additional Requirement
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background and credit check.
Travel Expectations
- Overnight travel to other HB offices approximately 5 days per month.
