This is an on-site, full-time Carrier Sales role based in Troy, MI. The Carrier Sales professional will be responsible for sourcing and coordinating transportation services with partner carriers, negotiating competitive rates, and cultivating strong relationships. Daily tasks will include account management, ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders, addressing client needs, and identifying new sales opportunities to drive growth. Timely problem-solving and maintaining high levels of customer service are critical aspects of this position.
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Sales within the logistics or transportation industry
- Strong communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with carriers and customers
- Proficiency in Account Management, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify transportation and sales opportunities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous
