The Role
The Role
- Design, implement, and operate data management systems for intelligence needs.
- Design how data will be stored, accessed, used, integrated, and managed across different data regimes and digital systems.
- Work with data users to determine, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.
- Plan, design, and optimize data throughput and query performance.
- Participate in the selection, configuration, and optimization of backend database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, HPC) and the full data pipeline infrastructure.
- Residency in the United States at the time of application.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a portion within the last 2 years.
- Deep experience with various data engineering tools and technologies (SQL, NoSQL, HPC, ETL process), especially for US Government customer systems.
