CareScout, a Genworth company, is on a mission to simplify and dignify the aging experience. We’re seeking a visionary Director of Product UX/Design to lead our design strategy and team, shaping intuitive, engaging experiences across all our digital products.
⭐ What You’ll Do
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX/UI designers and researchers
• Define and execute a clear UX strategy aligned with product roadmaps and business goals
• Establish and refine design processes, best practices, and maintain our Design System
• Conduct user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences
• Present design strategies, concepts, and research findings to stakeholders across the organization
• Hands-on design: create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and navigation concepts
🔍 What You Bring
• 10 years in UX/UI, product, or interaction design, with digital B2B and B2C experience
• 5 years in design leadership, managing and mentoring teams
• Expertise in Lean UX, user-centered design, and Design Systems
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, design process, and impactful UX solutions
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design/prototyping tools
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to have:
• Experience scaling design teams, Agile/Scrum environments, front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS), Web & mobile design
