Network Engineer | Remote
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Provide network engineering support for the design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of network architecture.
• Manage network architecture, including operational and security updates and changes.
• Lead deployment planning and coordination of network system upgrades.
• Interface with Tier 2 support for coordination and issue escalation.
• Provide briefings and status updates to leadership on network-related issues.
• Offer cross-discipline training and mentoring to team personnel.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field with 8-15 years of relevant experience.
• Active and current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in network infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Juniper SSR architecture, SD-WAN technologies, and Cisco IOS/IOS-XE operating systems.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Experience with network virtualization, software-defined networking, and familiarity with network automation tools.
