About the Role
We’re hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to support the full lifecycle of avionics subsystems used in modern defense systems. You’ll help transform requirements into technical solutions, define software/hardware interfaces, and contribute to developing safety-critical mission software.
What You’ll Do
- Develop embedded software in C/C
- Integrate algorithms and new features into mission software
- Design, test, debug, and verify safety- and mission-critical avionics software
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Support requirements, documentation, defect resolution, and performance validation
- Participate in design/code reviews and certification activities
Who You Are
You’re an early-career engineer with hands-on experience in embedded software or real-time systems. You enjoy collaborative environments, solving tough technical problems, and building reliable systems that support mission success.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM field
- OR a related MS with no experience required
- Experience with C/C
- Familiarity with full software lifecycle development
- U.S. Citizenship & ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience with graphical software development
- Knowledge of software methodologies configuration management
- Automated test development
- Git/GitLab, Visual Studio, Atlassian tools
- Real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Work & Schedule
- Hybrid schedule (part on-site, part remote)
- Standard 4x10 schedule (3-day weekends)
