The Role
- Develop and optimize ETL routines within the research data lake's silver layer.
- Collaborate with research scientists to align business use cases in the gold layer.
- Ensure impeccable data hygiene, document data flows, and integrate new data sources.
- Create pipelines for tracking wage theft violations and WALL implementation.
- Develop predictive models and BI tools to drive strategic initiatives.
- 5 years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS, including PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience in ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with the AWS database ecosystem (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Redshift).
- Working knowledge of BI tools and dashboard creation, with a preference for AWS QuickSight.
