We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Estimator to join a well-established construction team delivering high-quality commercial projects across diverse sectors.

The Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in leading preconstruction efforts across a portfolio of commercial projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive cost plans while supporting strategic bid decisions and ensuring project success from the earliest stages. You will collaborate with internal teams and trusted trade partners to deliver high-quality estimates that align with project goals, timelines, and budgets
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estimating process for commercial construction projects from concept through to tender submission
- Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and bid packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to identify scope, risks, and cost drives
- Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Drive value engineering initiatives to maximize efficiency and project value
- Develop competitive bid strategies aligned with project and market conditions
- Work closely with project management, design, and leadership teams during preconstruction
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Support multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Mentor and guide junior estimators
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in commercial construction
- Strong background in office, retail, mixed-use, or institutional projects
- Experience with both ground-up construction and renovations
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and cost planning
- Strong commercial awareness and risk management capability
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and digital take-off tools
