The firm is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator to be based in NYC. This person will support purchasing for a variety of ongoing projects.
Your new role
Some additional job duties for the Purchasing Coordinator:
- Support Project Managers on the approval process with subcontractors
- Develop scope of work reports
- Work with the Contracts Manager on post-awards process
- Partner with the legal department on final reviews
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- About 4–7 years in a purchasing or procurement role
- Experience with public works projects is highly preferred
- Sourcing experience of construction materials from a multitude of vendors
- Ability to read drawings and construction documents
