Your New Role

As a Leasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting leasing and compliance operations across a portfolio of affordable housing communities. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about working within a regulated housing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating leasing activities, including tours, applications, and lease documentation
• Conducting applicant interviews and verifying eligibility for affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.)
• Ensuring accurate and compliant tenant files and documentation
• Supporting recertifications, audits, and ongoing compliance processes
• Collaborating with property management and resident services teams
• Managing leasing data and maintaining records in property management systems
• Responding to resident and prospect inquiries while delivering excellent customer service

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8)
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations, certifications, and recertifications
• High attention to detail with experience managing resident files and documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus
