Your new role As a Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of large, complex projects by assisting Project Managers and Superintendents through every stage of construction. You will play a key role in maintaining project quality, cost control, scheduling, documentation, and communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. You’ll work as part of a larger project team, often on highly specialized, high‑profile projects. This is an in-office role based in Baltimore, MD 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with pre-construction tasks, subcontractor procurement, pricing, and purchasing Supporting baseline and bi‑weekly schedule updates Preparing scopes for subcontracts and purchase orders Managing submittals, RFIs, design changes, and change orders Tracking LEED documentation and participating in commissioning coordination Supporting BIM coordination on applicable projects Assisting with monthly billings, subcontractor invoice approval, and project closeout. Attending project meetings and recording minutes Contributing to quality control efforts and overall project organization What you'll need to succeed Bachelor’s in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred. An Associate degree in a related field is accepted. Ideally, 1–2+ years of industry exposure supporting projects over $10M. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project Experience with Primavera P6, project management software, or Sage Timberline is a plus.
