Position Summary
The ERP Systems Analyst (Vista Viewpoint) is an IT-focused role responsible for the support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company’s Vista by Viewpoint ERP system. This position plays a critical role in system implementation, troubleshooting, and process enhancement across accounting and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Vista experience, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
This is a fully in-office position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of Vista by Viewpoint ERP.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, accounting, and operations teams for system-related needs.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend system-driven improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Develop, maintain, and improve system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of ERP systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity across modules.
- Support reporting needs by leveraging Vista capabilities and improving data accessibility.
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new system features and updates.
- Assist with data migration, reconciliation, and validation during implementations or upgrades.
- Collaborate on IT and ERP-related projects to support business growth and scalability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience with Vista by Viewpoint ERP system.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve ERP/system-related issues.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, data structures, and system workflows.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations and post-go-live optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP systems analysis, IT systems support, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required.
- Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related industry is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
