Position Overview:
Harris County Universal Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Peoplesoft Financials functional analyst to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Peoplesoft Financials GL, KK and AP, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to translate functional requirements into system solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to support, enhance, and optimize our Peoplesoft Financials environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead functional analysis, design, and configuration of Peoplesoft Financials modules (e.g. GL, KK, AP, AR, AM, Expenses, Treasury)
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Collaborate with technical teams to support development, testing and deployment of enhancements
Perform system testing, UAT coordination and issue resolution
Provide production support and troubleshooting functional issues
Analyze current system performance and business processes, identifying areas of improvement. and recommending upgrades or changes
Assist in upgrades, patches, and implementation projects
Train users and create functional documentation

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
Experience:
7 years of hands-on experience with Peoplesoft Financials 9.0 and above
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
SME on GL/KK/AP
Working knowledge of AR, AM, Expenses and Treasury
Ability to write functional specs and work with developers on customizations
Strong understanding of Peoplesoft architecture, workflow and security
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Familiar with Peopletools, SQL and reporting tools (BI Publisher, Query)
