Engineering Project Manager – Transmission Line
Overview
Lead engineering delivery for high-voltage transmission projects from concept through construction and closeout. Act as the technical lead while coordinating engineering, operations, clients, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering across all project phases (design → construction → closeout)
- Collaborate with leadership on technical strategy and execution
- Manage external engineering consultants and performance metrics
- Ensure quality standards, engineering controls, and compliance
- Support field operations and client engagement (incl. site visits)
- Plan engineering resources and lead team development/training
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and client meetings
- Drive process improvements, innovation, and best practices
- Maintain strong safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 10 years in utility / transmission engineering
- Engineering degree (ABET accredited); PE preferred
- Strong experience delivering complex HV projects
- Background in civil, structural, or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of utility standards (ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC, etc.)
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness

Salary : $160,000 - $195,000
