Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate infant Teacher to join our team. As a infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. Your responsibilities will include creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development for a group of 4 children.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote learning and development in various areas such as language, math, science, and social skills.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel comfortable to explore, learn, and interact with their peers.
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address challenging behaviors.
- Assess children's progress through observation and evaluation, and communicate with parents or guardians about their child's development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan and coordinate activities, events, and parent involvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones.
Skills:
- Experience working with infant aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
