As a Paralegal on this dynamic in-house legal team, you will provide hands-on support across a broad range of practice areas, including litigation, claims, investigations, contracts, legal research, due diligence, corporate records, regulatory matters, and specialized filings. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and cross-functional business partners on a diverse range of legal matters while managing research, documentation, deadlines, and matter coordination. This growing team is seeking candidates with a range of experience levels who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute across multiple areas of an in-house legal function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain matter files and supporting materials for litigation, claims, investigations, audits, subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries, including legal holds, document collection, discovery materials, chronologies, and matter trackers.
- Conduct fact, legal, regulatory, docket, and public-record research, summarize findings for attorney review, and support internal and outside counsel with case preparation, responses, and deadlines.
- Review commercial agreements, legal correspondence, subpoenas, claims materials, notices, and business records for completeness, consistency, required approvals, and potential issues.
- Prepare initial drafts, redlines, summaries, signature packets, and closing or response materials using approved templates, while escalating substantive legal questions to counsel.
- Address routine legal process and matter-coordination needs by tracking commitments and deadlines and coordinating with internal teams, outside counsel, vendors, and government agencies.
- Support attorney-directed matters and business initiatives, including due diligence, real estate and store-related matters, records requests, legal notices, and third-party inquiries.
- Maintain routine corporate records, entity approvals, licensing, regulatory, and specialized filings by gathering records, preparing documentation, and coordinating requested information with the attorney responsible or specialized team.

What We're Looking For:
- Paralegal experience. You have at least one (1) or more years of prior experience in a paralegal role. Currently holding a paralegal certification and experience specifically in law firms or corporate environments is a plus!
- Clear and concise communicator. You have exceptional communication skills both verbally and through writing. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume legal department, you value the need to consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality with sensitive documents.
- Software knowledgeable. This role requires strong technical skills across a range of office and legal applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Relativity, Concordance, legal research systems, electronic filing, and databases.
- Dedicated to quality. You are independent, proactive, and a doer, taking pride in delivering the highest quality work for your team and the company’s clientele.
