This nonprofit is seeking a temporary-to-hire Development Assistant to provide essential membership, administrative, and project support to a high-performing development team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars and scheduling needs for the development team, including coordinating fundraising calls for senior leadership and preparing detailed briefings in advance.
- Maintain and regularly update the member and donor database, ensuring accuracy across records, pledge tracking, and engagement history.
- Support donor relations by drafting and sending thoughtful correspondence, including donor acknowledgments and thank-you communications.
- Coordinate outreach efforts by inviting members and stakeholders to events and managing RSVP tracking and follow-up.
- Assist in cultivating donor relationships through meeting coordination, communication support, and ongoing engagement efforts.
- Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of materials including donor communications, briefings, reports, and fundraising content.
- Conduct research and compile briefing materials to support donor outreach and development initiatives.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including logistics coordination, materials preparation, and post-event follow-up.
- Provide administrative and project support such as expense tracking, invoice processing, presentation preparation, and additional tasks as needed.
