2. One year of experience in healthcare related field is preferred
3. Supervisory experience is preferred

6. Computer literacy/skills required
7. Ability to successfully interact with people in face-to-face situations as well as by telephone in a
professional manner

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 830am - 430pm, In Office
Pay Rate:
$19 - $22/hr depending on experience
JOB SUMMARY: Professional member of the team who acts as Haven Specialty Home Care’s team leader
to assist the administrator/director of nursing to manager the agency. Coordinates all faucets of Haven
Specialty Home Care’s operations with the administrator/director of nursing to comply with all local, state and federal regulation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Organize and direct Haven Specialty Home Care’s on-going functions with the administrator/director of
nursing
2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws
3. Maintain on-going open communication with the administrator/director of nursing and other staff
members as directed by the administrator/director of nursing
4. Maintain personnel and administrative records in collaboration and support with the
administrator/director of nursing
5. Maintain electronic medical records under direction and supervision of the administrator/director of
nursing
6. Maintain patient’s physician orders under direction and supervision of the administrator/director of
nursing
7. Assist the human resources department with collecting and submitting necessary human resources
related items
8. Ensure employees stay up-to-date with mandated training
9. Coordinate staffing needs by each patient case according to the plan of care and physician orders under
direction of the administrator/director of nursing
10. Receptionist duties such as answering phone and greeting visitors in a professional manner
11. Coordinate the telephone communication system, answers phone, screen calls, transfer calls and take
appropriate messages
12. Coordinate intra-office communications (i.e. memos, messages, faxes, and scheduling of meetings)
13. Handles all typing, copying, filing and mailing as necessary to support administrative staff (as directed)
14. Answer emails and other electronic messages as required
15. Provide support for office and clinical staff, as necessary
16. Maintain a current patient roster
17. Maintain adequate office supplies by performing inventory checks, monitoring usage and
communicating order needs
18. Fax and re-fax, when necessary, orders and follow up with doctors to ensure that signatures are obtained in a timely manner
19. Report to the Administrator/ Director of Nursing any issues that affect the agency and assists with the
maintenance of the complaint log
20. Perform errands (company related as required)
21. Attends and participates in inter-office meetings as scheduled and/or directed
22. Add and update patients into EMR system along with assigned clinicians
23. Communicate frequently and effectively with local and inter-office personnel and field staff as needed
24. Maintain an organized, clean work environment
25. Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
26. Maintain and conduct self in a professional manner at all times and situations
27. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, employee and Haven Specialty Home Care
information
28. Adhere to all Haven Specialty Home Care's policies and procedures including but not limited to
the HIPAA privacy rule
29. Accept responsibility for regular attendance and punctuality
30. Perform other delegated job duties as assigned by the Administrator/ Director of Nursing

What is the EEOICPA?
The EEOICPA (Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act) under the United States Department of Labor has a free (to eligible energy workers) program to completely cover the medical costs of energy workers such as uranium miners, millers, and haulers or beryllium workers from the Cold War era.
