What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Assistant Phoenix Hourly position at Haven of Phoenix?
The Business Office Assistant works under the direction of the Business Office Manager (BOM) and is responsible in assisting the BOM for the maintenance of financial records and the management of accounts receivables. This position deals with third-party payers, Medicare, Medicaid along with all pertinent collections processes. The position assists the BOM to oversee, safeguard and control the resident funds as assigned by Business Office Manager. Must have billing experience in skilled nursing.
> Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
> Tuberculosis Testing
> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
> Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English
