At Haven Headache and Migraine Center, we're building the future of headache care—one virtual visit at a time. Co-founded by board-certified headache specialists, Haven is a virtual-first specialty clinic dedicated exclusively to patients with migraine and headache disorders. We believe expert care should be accessible, compassionate, and designed for the real lives of the millions living with headache disorders.
The opportunity:
We’re hiring a Strategic Operations Manager to own the execution of Haven’s most critical projects. Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will be the bridge between a strategic idea and a fully functioning clinical/operational workflow. You aren't just planning the 'what'; you are the architect and builder of the 'how.' This is an ideal fit for someone who thrives at the intersection of complex problem-solving and rapid execution and wants to have a direct hand in shaping Haven’s business model.
You’ll Help Us
You will lead the implementation of a diverse portfolio of high-impact projects that directly affect our ability to provide world-class care efficiently. You’ll partner cross-functionally with operational and clinical leads to ensure our operations are not only high-touch for patients but also high-performing for the business.

What We’re Looking For
At Haven, we offer a unique opportunity to work directly with experienced founders who have built and scaled successful healthcare companies. You'll receive meaningful equity in a venture-backed company tackling a massive problem, along with comprehensive healthcare benefits.
Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity is built into our DNA with a founding team representing POC, female, disabled, and LGBTQ founders. We strongly encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply — many successful candidates may not meet every requirement. Studies show underrepresented candidates often only apply when meeting 100% of qualifications; we'd love to hear from you even if you don't check every box.
Haven Headache and Migraine Center is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
Location information:
We are based in downtown San Francisco and value in-person collaboration. Our team values a hybrid model for our SF office and this team member will work 2-3 days per week in office.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Implementation & Execution: Partner with leaders across the company to take core initiatives from strategy to reality. You will own the translation of strategy into a functioning system—evaluating tools, designing the mechanics of the workflow, and ensuring the team is trained to execute.
- Process Design & Revenue Enablement: Evaluate new service lines to define the operational process and assess financial feasibility.
- Data Strategy & Performance Monitoring: You will identify and collect the critical metrics needed to make operational decisions. Beyond just reporting, you’ll interpret these data points to provide clear insights, using them to validate the success of new service lines and measure the long-term impact of Haven’s strategic projects.
- Ad Hoc Issue Resolution: Serve as the "special ops" resource for the organization, stepping in to resolve urgent, complex issues that don't have a clear home.
What We’re Looking For
- 4 years of experience in healthcare, including operations, consulting, business operations, or a high-growth startup environment.
- Strategic Project Management: You have a builder mindset and a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea to done. You are adept at driving results through influence and collaboration, even when you don't have direct authority over the teams involved.
- Technical & Analytical Rigor: You are highly comfortable collecting and interpreting data to drive decisions.
- Attention to Detail: You’re someone who notices the tiny discrepancy in a report and won't stop until the data is audited and accurate.
