The Internal Recruiter will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and supporting top talent for our company. This entry-level position will focus on managing and expanding our college internship program, including building strong partnerships with universities, attending career fairs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. In addition, the recruiter will screen and background check candidates for open positions across the company, assisting branches and Human Resources in driving an efficient and effective hiring process.
Core Duties and Responsibilities: Recruiting
- Organize database with up-to-date staffing requirements for each branch location and update as needed.
- Partner with the hiring manager and Corporate HRM to finalize job descriptions to establish recruitment processes.
- Post open positions on various job boards and college portals to increase candidates for all new/current positions within the company.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, and placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
- Support registration process and attend job/career fairs to communicate opportunities within our company and create awareness for future openings.
- Screen and refer applicant resumes to the hiring manager for formal interviews.
- Coordinate and oversee the company's college internship program.

- Develop relationships with career services offices, faculty, and student organizations at target universities.
- Assist in the selection, onboarding, and mentoring coordination for interns.
- Track intern performance and support efforts to convert successful interns into full-time employees.
- Maintain connections with top interns until full0time employment begins.
Department operations:
- Maintaining confidential electronic employee files ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Document workflow and procedures and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist the HR team with various projects and initiatives as needed.
- Participate in day-to-day administration and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR related staff meetings and attend other company HR related events as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2 years experience in recruiting, admissions, or client engagement.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to handle data with a high-level of confidentiality
- Knowledge of HR department functions and procedures
