Position Overview
The State Government of Georgia is seeking a Kofax 11 Certified Consultant with strong expertise in imaging solutions, document management systems, and enterprise content management processes. This is an onsite, senior-level SME role requiring at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with state government projects.
The consultant will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale capture and workflow solutions, integrating Kofax technologies with backend content management systems while ensuring scalability, high availability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance imaging solutions, scanning, and faxing systems.
Implement enterprise-scale capture solutions using Kofax Capture 11, KTM 6, KCIC, KCNS, Kofax Total Agility, and related platforms.
Integrate Kofax workflows with IBM EE Content Management and OpenText/RightFax systems.
Develop custom workflows and export connectors using C#.Net, Java, and CM APIs.
Configure and optimize OCR/ICR, barcode technologies, image preprocessing, and machine learning-based classification.
Work with various document types (structured, unstructured, semi-structured).
Develop .NET and Java applications (WinForms, MVC, ASP.NET, .NET Core, WCF, WPF, LINQ, Entity Framework).
Utilize scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, WinWrap Basic) for automation.
Perform data/document extraction automation.
Create and maintain IBM Navigator EDS services and content repository interfaces.
Implement security, compliance, and system capacity planning.
Install, configure, and maintain production scanners (Fujitsu, NextScan).
Perform application server installations, configurations, and patching.
Document functional designs for future upgrades and maintenance.
Required Skills & Experience
8 years in system analysis, design, and development of document management, records management, and enterprise content management systems.
Kofax Capture 11, KTM 6, KCIC, KCNS, Kofax Total Agility (8 years).
Strong programming skills in VB.Net, C#.Net, MVC, ASP.Net, .Net Core, WinForms, WCF, WPF, LINQ, Entity Framework.
Backend database experience with MS SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL (5 years).
OCR/ICR and barcode processing expertise.
Hands-on AWS experience (5 years).
IBM EE Content Management Systems experience.
Certified in Kofax 11 and CIP (Certified Information Professional) – must provide certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
State government project experience.
Experience with cloud integration for imaging applications.
Strong understanding of multi-platform application delivery.
