Join Our Finance Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial processes while partnering with team leaders to support organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly payroll tasks for office and hourly employees.
- Perform all aspects of the accounts payable and disbursements cycle.
- Analyze financial results and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit requirements.
- Maintain fixed asset records and oversee depreciation schedules.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.
- Participate in special projects, acquisitions, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (Epicor, Sage, Traild AP Automation).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
