Role Overview

The Vulnerability Analyst II (Data-Focused) is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and usability of vulnerability management data across multiple sources. This role focuses on developing harmonized datasets, implementing data quality controls, and delivering actionable insights through reporting and dashboards. The analyst leverages strong Power BI and SQL skills to analyze trends, support remediation efforts, and translate complex datasets into meaningful security insights that drive risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain harmonized datasets across multiple vulnerability management tools

Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency

Build dashboards and reports using Power BI to support operational and leadership needs

Analyze vulnerability trends and provide actionable insights for remediation

Collaborate with engineering, application, cloud, and governance teams

Support exception handling and risk-based prioritization processes

Translate complex security data into clear, business-aligned recommendations

Required Skills & Experience

Intermediate-level experience in vulnerability management

Strong expertise in Power BI and data analytics

Experience working with vulnerability management tools and security frameworks

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk-based methodologies

Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques

Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $52 - $57 Hourly on W2.
